The organization wants leaders equipped to handle managing classrooms and staff in a hyper-growth environment with frequent changes in resources. Leaders feel stressed, emotionally charged, and overwhelmed. As a result, they receive negative student ratings in peer to peer feedback and surveys.

Focus Groups with lead instructors show that:
Instructors are not motivated to improve. They are not rewarded for higher performance or chastised for lower performance.
Hypergrowth leads to little time for improvement and practice.
Inconsistent feedback leads to an inability to quickly and efficiently deliver iteration on classroom management.
Instructors feel overwhelmed and emotionally distraught when it comes to any changes. It takes over their whole nervous system, and they are unable to complete their job or remain happy over time.
This program is for 50+ lead instructors over several locations.

This eLearning course provided for managers and instructors will focus on skill-building in the areas of mindfulness, self-awareness, and empathy. This course will contain content about facilitating inclusive anti-racism collaboration, activities to practice body-based resourcing and self-awareness, and practice developing empathy.
The focus group shows many different gaps and areas for improvement. I chose to create a course centered around building self-awareness and empathy. Reward systems, slowing growth, improving feedback mechanisms, adding time to the instructor's schedules are all areas that are not accessible to change right away. The course provides a low budget method to give instructors resources that they can master and feel in control.
There will be monthly manager coaching sessions and monthly self-assessments to evaluate progress. Student surveys will also assess instructor performance. There will be rubrics to facilitate coaching sessions and self-assessments.
I created this course in Articulate Rise 360 with the support of image creation on Canva. I choose this authoring tool due to its accessibility and readability on all devices so users can access it anywhere, anytime.
Several elements were used in the development to increase engagement such as videos, interactive gifs created in Canva, branch scenarios.
